The pressures of a housing market in an overgrown and tired resort town have pushed development up the hill.  Now housing, like the opening gambit in game of chess, is controlled by moving in and out with and around the bank.  The sand sculptures and sets underscore the scarce earth nature of the real-estate market.  The value in dirt is in the image that presses eyes to the greener grass, The prize does not always go to the winner.  Sometimes the water holds more promise than the land.

With a view over the waters of Puerto Vallarta the ever changing skyline grants a vista over the cathedral of Guadalupe as a backdrop for Miranda and Ken!  Now this would be just a boring family pic if it wasn’t that Ken got some 60 floors for his climb up and Miranda to a paltry 11 floors.  The competition is in the numbers, not the score keeping.  Very often these random bits of information trigger a snakes and ladders response to facts.

The sculpture created by Busmanti and displayed in a gallery in Puerto Vallarta captures the convoluted journeys ideas take in human neural networks.  In the background, a face photo bombs the headshot.  Underscoring a competitive and whimsical nature.  The thoughts are a whirlwind of constructive and destructive tensions.

The sand castle of the Virgin of Guadalupe encapsulates the open armed acceptance of her role in the drama of redemption and the fleeting tidal wash that has eroded most of the sand of all the sculptures.  The washing sands of time and the fading shadows of tradition speak of a steeple chase that may see a renewed interest in pacemakers!
