Every evening the day is punctuated by the slipping sun behind the period waves.  A brilliance made possible by airborne humidity and pollution. As the day sets into night the coloured washes foreshadow cooling and evening.  The evening air cooled by the absence of rays.  There is a diurnal balance created in the beginning.

The colours spill over and create an ever-ending, ever-lasting day that rolls into evening with the promise of morning. In the cooling of evening the island pauses to eat. Music wafts from beaches, halls and bars.  Each pale visitor touched by the sun and screened by lotions. Behind each sunset painting is the creator’s brush. There is so much colour that the painter might with a rainbow precision remind us that every blessing is handmade!
