The great thing about being in the tropics, rain and sun can share a moment. We were walking along the paver board-walk when the zipper of thunder opened the clouds. It rained! Rain that poured into every pore through umbrellas, ponchos and garbage bags. The splash of our feet coating calf muscles with sand. Mud! Then like a flash of lightening it’s over. The jungle a steamer of green vegetation.
The vessels retired migrant packers, emerged and submerged by time and neglect. A ferry of flaked steel. Painted together.
The verdant jungle a plantation for fruit. A quiver of attraction for the buzzing pollen dusters. The bright colours a reminder that attraction like a smile bridges personality creating a pallet for relationships.
